AI and the Law: AI Solutions Delivered by Microsoft

This one-day course, delivered by senior experts from Microsoft, explores how artificial intelligence is transforming the legal profession and equips students with practical skills to apply AI tools in law and compliance.

Program Overview

Block 1: AI in Legal Practice (09:15–11:00): Gain insights into how AI is used in law firms and in-house legal departments. Topics include the AI economy, Microsoft’s AI transformation journey, and practical use cases for legal professionals and students.
Block 2: Build Your Own AI Agent (11:00–13:00): An interactive session introducing Microsoft Copilot and agents. Students will work in groups to design their own AI agent (e.g., a “study buddy” for exam preparation). Selected ideas will be showcased and discussed by Microsoft experts.
Block 3: Prompt Engineering Challenge (14:30–16:30): A hands-on workshop where students practice effective prompt engineering techniques. Each participant will work directly on their laptops under the guidance of Microsoft’s AI specialists.
