This lecture series explores the long and multifaceted history of Swiss-Ukrainian relations from the 19th century to the present day. From the role of Swiss entrepreneurs in Ukraine’s industrial modernization to political exiles inspired by Swiss federalism and the humanitarian ties forged in times of upheaval, the series sheds light on the historical bridges that connect the two countries.
