Non-equilibrium quantum meta-materials

Conférence

Public conference as part of the Search for a professor in Theoretical physics.

Summary: Understanding how matter behaves when driven far from equilibrium is one of the central challenges in modern physics. In this talk, I will present my research program exploring how external controls—such as light, noise, and geometric confinement—can be used to engineer new phases of quantum matter. I will discuss how ultrafast optical driving and cavity quantum electrodynamics can be harnessed to stabilize exotic states such as photo-induced superconductivity, magnetism and topological order, even at ambient conditions. I will highlight how these principles connect to future quantum and green technologies outlining my vision for building a research and teaching program that bridges fundamental science and real-world impact.
