Artificial Intelligence: should we panic? An insider's perspective

Artificial Intelligence might possibly transform human life in ways that neither the steam engine, electricity, nor the internet did. At the same time, society and governments have not resolved questions of safety, ethics and governance in the slightest. In this context, the ethical responsibility for ensuring that AI develops responsibly falls back on businesses in the field. In this public talk, we will hear the perspective of Václav Volhejn and get a chance to discuss our questions with him.

Václav Volhejn is an applied Machine Learning scientist and a former gold medalist at the International Olympiad in Informatics. He works at Lakera.ai - a Swiss AI company aiming at solving AI safety, fostering innovation and benefiting humanity.
