On May 13, 2026 (15:00–17:00), Robert Marzec, Professor of Postcolonial and Environmental Studies at Purdue University, will deliver a guest lecture in the graduate seminar (Un-)Sustainable Narratives. The talk titled “Technics of Algorithmic War: Narrative Compression and Environmental Enclosure” will address the relationship between the military and ecology, a topic on which Marzec has published extensively
