This talk provides an overview of the present developments in establishing a Swiss Data Ecosystem. Trust is a cornerstone for the implementation and acceptance of data spaces. A data space is a technical and organisational structure that enables and regulates the provision, sharing and accessing of data from different sources and by different stakeholders. Within the Data Ecosystem Contact Point at the Federal Chancellery, we are working on a reference architecture for data spaces that supports their establishment. The vision is that the entirety of all trustworthy and compatible data spaces in Switzerland form the Swiss data ecosystem.
