The President of Botswana is visiting the Institute of Federalism, at the University of Fribourg, on the 1st of May 2023 at 08.45am. He will be welcomed in the Aula Magna, at the Miséricorde Campus of the University.

For this occasion, the IFF has organised a conference open to the public in which participants will have the chance to ask questions to President Masisi himself.

After welcoming addresses from the University's Rector, Fribourg's Mayor and a cantonal representative, the President Masisi will open up a panel of discussion in which professors and a Swiss Ambassador will exchange views on Promoting Democracy for Citizen-Centred Participation in the Digital Age.
