DESCRIPTION:Let $G$ be a finitely generated group and $S$ be a set of generators.\nThe growth rate of metric spheres of the Cayley graph of G with respect to S is one of the central topics in geometric group theory.\nIn this talk  I will give an overview of recent progress on arithmetic aspects of growth rates of \nhyperbolic groups, focussing mainly on hyperbolic Coxeter groups.
