DESCRIPTION:Do you sometimes find yourself wondering how prepared you are for the next step in your career, whether inside or beyond academia? \nThis interactive workshop for postdocs provides a space to pause, reflect, strengthen your career readiness and connect with peers. Using a structured career development framework, we will explore four key dimensions that support successful career development: \n•	Know Yourself – reflecting on your motivations, strengths, and career values \n•	Know Your Tools – identifying the skills, methods, and resources you can mobilise \n•	Know Your Opportunities – exploring career paths and labour market perspectives \n•	Plan Your Career – defining concrete next steps and strategies\nThrough guided reflections, practical exercises, and group discussions, you will explore your strengths, transferable skills, and professional interests to better understand how they align with opportunities both within and beyond academia. \n\nTogether, we will look at ways to prototype your career vision, experiment with potential directions, and explore the current job market. You’ll gain insights into non-academic CVs and networking strategies, learn how to identify suitable career options, and set realistic next steps for your professional journey. \n\nBy the end of the workshop, you will have developed a clearer sense of your career resources and a tangible action plan to help you move forward with purpose and confidence. \nTake this time for yourself, connect with peers, and (re)discover that career exploration can be engaging, and even fun. \n\nParticipants will learn to: \n•	Reflect on their career resources: identify strengths, transferable skills, and unique value. \n•	Prototype their vision: test different career scenarios and discover what motivates them most. \n•	Explore the job market: understand emerging roles and pathways inside and outside academia. \n•	Set SMART goals: define clear, actionable steps to advance their career plans. \nAnd most importantly, the workshop provides you with  \n•	tools,  \n•	time and  \n•	support \nto continue your career exploration on the basis of your individual situation and needs.\n
