DESCRIPTION:Proposal writing is a key skill for postdoctoral researchers seeking to secure funding and develop independent research projects. This two-day, interactive workshop provides a structured introduction to writing competitive research grant applications, from idea development to submission. \nParticipants will learn how to communicate their research ideas effectively, understand how proposals are reviewed, and avoid common mistakes that can limit success. Through short inputs and hands-on exercises, participants will work on an outline of their own proposal based on SNSF guidelines. The workshop is not discipline-specific and is open to all postdoctoral researchers at the University of Fribourg.\n\nPreparation task: Think of an idea or scientific project that you would like to propose for funding and send us a draft of max. 1 A4 page 2 weeks prior to the workshop. \n\nWhere and when: University of Fribourg, 19 and 26 March 2026, 9.30 – 16.00\n\nThis workshop is organised by the Graduate Campus Postdoc.
