DESCRIPTION:We at the University of Fribourg are very honoured to host the General Assembly of the Compostela Group of Universities for the second time. The previous one, in 2003, brought us many memorable moments and our greatest wish is to repeat them in the company of all of you again by celebrating the XXVIII General Assembly of the CGU on 8-9 September 2022.\n\nThe event is entitled 'The challenge of bilingualism and multilingualism in the University of the 21st Century' because we want to bring to dialogue the advantages, needs and challenges of implementing education in a multicultural environment. The CGU is an excellent example of a diverse community, so what better occasion to discuss the issue together.\n\nThe programme includes academic but also friendly cultural activities to make our University, city and culture known. Thus, as Rector of the host University, I warmly welcome you to the XXVIII General Assembly of the CGU, at the University of Fribourg. \n\n
