Why joining?
In this interactive half-day workshop, you’ll learn and experiment with a structured framework to assess the potential of technologies for application, spot risks, and explore pathways to impact.

By the end of the workshop, you will be able to:
· Understand why identifying ‘winning ideas’ early is hard
· Apply a framework to make technology screening more objective and accessible
· Discuss how to de-risk technologies and prioritize actions toward the application

Who?
This workshop is designed for junior researchers - including PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and early-career academics - who are curious about innovation and impact.

You don’t need prior experience or plans to become an entrepreneur; the session is equally useful if you:
• Want to understand how research translates beyond academia
• Are exploring careers in industry, policy, or research support
• Simply want to broaden your perspective on the value of your work

Coffee and snacks will be provided during the break.
