This conference is organized in the framework of the research project “Standing in the light of his thought”: Stanislaw Brzozowski and Polish Intellectual Life in the 20th and 21st Centuries, financed by the Swiss National Science Foundation. The central goal of the project is to explore Brzozowski’s presence in Poland’s literature, literary criticism, philosophy and cultural theory of the 20th and early 21st centuries.
Whereas the project itself deals with the more prominent figures, lines of thought as well as the intellectual circles in which Brzozowski’s writings have served as a point of reference, this conference aims to highlight indirect, lesser known contexts of Brzozowski’s sphere of influence.
